Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Finance, your role will be a broad and dynamic one requiring you to partner closely with key stakeholders across the business to provide timely and accurate financial insights to support commercial decision-making.
More specifically, your key responsibilities will include:
- Consolidating results across the group to provide commercial insights and visibility into trading performance
- Evolving existing reporting frameworks and dashboards - both operational and financial performance
- Coordinating the end-to-end monthly & quarterly forecasting cycles with Commercial Finance teams, ensuring business unit submissions are completed timely.
- Preparing summary analysis of Group forecasts (mid-month, month-end, quarterly), working closely with the CFO and Group Financial Controller to analyse forecasts, maintain alternative versions of scenario planning, and decision-making support.
- Critically evaluating submissions and assumptions from business units, providing feedback and recommendations.
- Partnership with business unit Commercial Managers and other stakeholders to drive value add business insights and improved decision making on a variety of ad-hoc business projects.
- Leading all areas of planning and performance reporting of the group, including preparation of the Group's annual Strategic Plan and Budget.
CA/CPA qualified, ideally you will have commenced your career within a Big 4 or mid-tier firm and will have experience within an ASX listed organisation and/or Retail/FMCG environment. You will be a genuine business partner who is able to build strong relationships and exert influence across the group. You will be commercial and strategic and will know what it takes to deliver a 'best in class' FP&A function.
