About the Role
The Student Support Officer is responsible for providing high-quality assistance to current and prospective students. This role ensures students feel welcomed, supported, and guided throughout their English learning journey in Australia.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide frontline support to students via email, WhatsApp, phone and in person.
• Assist with enrolments, attendance tracking, and Moodle access.
• Support students with welfare concerns and refer to professional services when required.
• Assist with issuing certificates, letters, and academic documents.
• Maintain student records in compliance with ELICOS and ASQA requirements.
• Coordinate campus events, orientation, and student activities (e.g., Book Club, Pronunciation Thursdays).
• Provide information regarding accommodation, work rights, transport, and living in Australia.
• Collaborate with teachers and the academic team to support student progress.
Requirements
• Advanced English (speaking & writing).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work across two campuses.
• Knowledge of student administration systems (Moodle) is an advantage.
• Friendly, organised, and proactive personality.
