The opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join the dynamic team based in Lambton. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the role will be the key link in communicating and working between the centralised finance function and the business operations.
In this role, you will be accountable for the on-site finance function, supported remotely by the corporate financial accounting team. The role encompasses a blend of bare bones accounting with an analytical operational focus, providing an opportunity to use financial skills to generate business improvement.

Tasks
* Review of month end processing and assistance with some tasks as required.
* Ensuring timely and accurate monthly reports and forecasts.
* Analysis of key variances within the departmental results.
* Preparing accurate and timely financial & operational reports.
* Forecasting and budgeting at a departmental level.
* CAPEX forecasting, analysis and preparation of proposals.
* Cost analysis and margin reviews.
* Being the finance link between the business and corporate head office.
About you
* Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
* CA/CPA qualification highly desirable.
* Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.
* High attention to detail.
* Ability to analyse and interpret data.
* Experience in manufacturing industry desirable but not essential.
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
