Lead Occupational Therapist
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated occupational therapist to join our team. As a lead occupational therapist, you will play a vital role in the growth and development of our occupational therapy services across the Ballarat region.
Our ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations, including children and adults with developmental and acquired disabilities. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, designing therapy plans, and delivering high-quality services in various settings, including clients' homes, day centers, parks, and other community locations.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to innovate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide best-practice care. You will also be supported by an experienced regional manager and have access to ongoing professional development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and develop personalized therapy plans
* Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services in various settings, including clients' homes, day centers, parks, and other community locations
* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve best-practice outcomes
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Minimum 2 years of post-graduate experience working with diverse populations, including children and adults with developmental and acquired disabilities
