Job Opportunity:
We are seeking an Associate Project Manager to join our High Voltage Service team at Smithfield, NSW.
The role focuses on leading the execution of Service Jobs from a commercial and technical perspective, ensuring activities align with company procedures, contract specifications, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, cost/profitability targets, and scheduling targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure project execution adheres to best practices and Hitachi Energy policies, effectively monitor and control project progress, and optimize resource utilization.
* Monitor and control service projects, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow, identify, qualify, quantify, manage risk, and capture opportunities.
* Ensure project closure as per contractually agreed terms, drive formal acceptance, and manage contract close-out and customer acknowledgement.
* Coordinate supplier procurement, serve as key contact for customers, and escalate project issues, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Maintain compliance with company health, safety, and environmental policies, review equipment drawings, documentation, and interact with the execution team and factories on technical issues.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering.
* Minimum 3 years of experience managing service projects.
* Good knowledge of High Voltage product drawings reading and understanding.
* SAP knowledge is an advantage.
* Strong communication skills, interpersonal communication, leadership capability, and ownership.
