This busy private practice in the town of Childers is currently transitioning to private billing. Current services offered include:

* Skin Checks and Minor Procedures
* Diabetes Management
* Family Medicine
* Health Assessments and Care Plans
* Immunisation and Vaccinations
* Mental Health Care support
* Sports Medicine
* Musculo-skeletal medicine
* Obstetrics & ante natal health care
* Urological Disease
* Cardiovascular Disease
* ECG
* Spirometry
* 24 hour Holter Monitoring
* Onsite pathology
Position Description:
* Provide high-quality clinical health services for patients in accordance with best practice and RACGP guidelines
* Provide after hours, on call services as rostered if applicable
* Examine, diagnose, and treat patients for a variety of common ailments
* Treat acute and chronic illnesses and provide preventative care and health education to patients
* Provide advice and treatment that is in line with preventative health initiatives
* Order clinical diagnostic tests
* See patients daily in the consultation rooms
* Maintain patient medical records
* Attend and participate in regular staff meetings
* Report near misses and mistakes in clinical care
* Ensure patient health information is not visible to unauthorised persons
* Report any potential data breach
* Sign a confidentiality agreement
* Maintain a safe working environment for staff and patients in accordance with relevant workplace health and safety policies and guidelines
* Comply and act in accordance with the practice’s infection control policies
Qualifications & Experience:
* AHPRA Registration
* CPR
* Current CPD
* Medical Indemnity
Job Type:
Permanent position. Open to Full Time or Part Time.
After Hours Requirements:
Some phone calls may be needed for after hours.
Salary Information:
Percentage of billings.
About Childers:
Childers is located 311 km north of Brisbane via the Bruce Highway. It is 60 km northwest of Maryborough, 54 km south of Bundaberg and 108 m above sea level. Childers came into existence as a service town for the surrounding sugar cane fields. Today it combines tourism with a surrounding agriculture of sugar cane, avocadoes, and macadamia nuts.
