The role
* Full Time, Continuing
* Level D - $167,348 pa to $184,243 (plus allowances and 17% superannuation)
* Level E - $215,225 pa (plus allowances and 17% superannuation)
* Bathurst (Other Charles Sturt campus locations negotiable)
As a Professor or Associate Professor in Nursing, you will provide strategic leadership across teaching, research and community engagement, driving excellence in student‐centred learning and advancing the University's research profile. You will design and deliver high quality teaching in a range of modes, lead and grow research programmes and teams, supervise higher degree research candidates, and foster strong partnerships with industry, government and professional bodies. The role also plays a key part in curriculum innovation, mentoring academic staff, and contributing to governance and strategic initiatives that enhance the School's impact and reputation.
About you
* A doctoral qualification appropriate to nursing or equivalent accreditation and standing
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the AHPRA
* Significant knowledge and understanding of the discipline gained through industry experience and/or scholarly activities or similar
* The ability to provide effective leadership and promote inclusive practices in the workplace
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships and networks within academic, clinical and health‐related environments
