Your new role As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations, coordinating trades and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget. Reporting into senior management, you will oversee site logistics from preparation through to handover, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications and building regulations. Your key duties will include: Managing site trades and subcontractors Coordinating materials, deliveries and site logistics Ensuring works are completed in line with drawings and specifications Driving construction programs and meeting project milestones Monitoring site costs and controlling on-site expenditure Enforcing WHS, SWMS and quality standards Attending regular site meetings and assisting with project reporting Managing stakeholder communication and resolving site issues as they arise What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will bring strong site leadership skills and a hands-on approach to construction delivery. You will demonstrate the ability to manage people, programs and safety outcomes in a fast-paced environment.You will also have: QBCC licence Trade background in construction Strong knowledge of site safety and WHS requirements Sound understanding of building regulations and site compliance Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities Strong rapport-building skills with subcontractors and stakeholders A proactive, can-do attitude A tertiary qualification in construction or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
