Chef Opportunities
We are seeking skilled Chefs to join our culinary team in a luxury hotel on the Mornington Peninsula.
As part of this exceptional team, you will contribute to delivering outstanding dining experiences with carefully curated seasonal menus.
Key responsibilities include working alongside top-tier leadership and front-of-house teams, maintaining high standards of food quality, and participating in events such as weddings and galas.
* Chef de Partie: Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and preparation, ensuring timely service delivery.
* Pasty Chef: Create exquisite pastries and desserts for special occasions.
* Commis or Demi Chef: Support the Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations, including menu preparation and presentation.
* Apprentice Chef: Learn from experienced chefs and contribute to the kitchen team's success.
Requirements:
* A certificate in Commercial Cookery or completion of an apprenticeship (2nd or 3rd year).
* Experience in similar roles in a la carte hotel restaurants or functions kitchens.
* Enthusiasm, creative approach, and ability to work well with others.
* Understanding of food safety and HACCP principles.
