About The Role:
This role is to maintain and/or improvise logistic processes utilising the CAF16 Product Schedule (PdS). This role requires strong Defence logistics knowledge, policy requirements, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, review & maintain Integrated Logistics Support Instructions for CAF16 allocated systems.
* Manage materiel sustainment operations including logistics engineering functions, preparedness, compliance & assurance, and disposal activities.
* Provide materiel sustainment advice and technical advice in relation to hardware & software solutions for the allocated system.
* Liaise, support & maintain productive relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
* Prepare support plans, contracts & associated budgets in accordance with Defence policies & templates.
* Manage equipment and the transition of future products from the generating organisation to the in-service phase.
* Prepare high level/sensitive written materials & oral presentations.
* Review, analyse & report upon materiel logistics performance.
* Undertake ad-hoc queries and maintain reports from a variety of resources as specific to department or organisational needs to support the business.
* Support and advise Sustainment Managers, CAF16 Logistics Officer (LOGO) and System Managers (SMs) on logistics related activities.
* Provide monthly and ad hoc stock holding reports to SMs and CAF16 LOGO.
* Maintain SLOCs as required.
* Manage and coordinate the data integrity of the Military Integrated Logistic Information System (MILIS) database and ERP that are relevant to CAF16 systems.
* Execute day to day processes and perform risk management, data management, record management and data analysis.
* Undertake ad-hoc tasks to support the business
About You:
* The following experience is highly desirable for this position:
* Prior postings in Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG).
* Project and/or Product management experience.
* Understanding of materiel logistics within the CASG sustainment process.
* Experience with ERP & TAMIT.
* Highly organised and able to multi-task with a clear bias for action and a sense of urgency on priorities.
* The ability to work well with others in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Understanding of modern networking, computers and operating system is highly desirable; and Hold a minimum NV1 clearance.
