About The Role
Head of AI Enablement: ensure the way we work is as cutting-edge as the science we do. This high-impact, hands‐on role allows a direct line to the CEO and executive team, a dedicated AI budget, and the freedom to rebuild workflows across the organization – from lab to commercial to operations – by identifying where AI can compress timelines, eliminate friction, and unlock capability.
You will build apps, design agents, assess when to buy and when to build, coach, enable, and push SQC to the frontier of how work gets done. Because building the world's first fault‐tolerant, utility‐scale quantum computer depends on every advantage.
Your Experience
* You have operated at the leading edge of the AI wave – you're not watching it, you're riding it.
* You are a builder and systems thinker who sees workflows as something to engineer, not endure.
* You have hands‐on experience deploying AI tools and agents in real organisational environments, and know what 'production-ready' actually means.
* You know when an off‐the‐shelf SaaS product is the right call – and when it isn't.
* You have deep familiarity with frontier AI tooling (Claude, GPT, Cursor, and the broader ecosystem) and can configure, prompt, and integrate them properly.
* You can coach and bring others along – showing what's possible and driving practical adoption at every level.
* You think carefully about AI infrastructure cost and efficiency, and you manage spend like it matters.
* You understand AI governance and data security, and you build with both in mind from the start.
* You thrive in high‐accountability, fast‐moving environments where the quality of your output is visible.
