Robert Half has partnered with a leading Australian organisation within the agricultural industrial / supply chain sector is seeking an experienced Solution Manager to take ownership of a critical portfolio of enterprise applications supporting large-scale operational and commercial activities. Reporting into senior leadership, this role is accountable for end-to-end software lifecycle management, ensuring digital solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned to both local business needs and global technology standards. You will work closely with business leaders, global IT service lines, and external partners to drive delivery excellence, continuous improvement, and long-term value from the application landscape. Key Responsibilities Own and manage the full lifecycle of enterprise digital products and applications, from strategy through to delivery, support, and optimisation Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into effective, scalable technical solutions Lead feasibility assessments covering technical, operational, and organisational considerations Drive delivery of defined features, outcomes, and enhancements within established governance and delivery frameworks Identify, analyse, and respond to security risks, incidents, and vulnerabilities in line with organisational security standards Establish and uphold standards for application management, service delivery, and cybersecurity performance Lead continuous improvement initiatives across quality, reliability, and technical currency Manage external vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality outcomes and value for money Monitor and report on delivery performance, risks, and KPIs with clear, transparent communication Act as a senior escalation point for application or delivery issues impacting business operations Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Analysts and Solution Specialists, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture About You Proven experience managing enterprise application portfolios or digital solutions in complex environments 8 years' experience in solution, application, or technology portfolio management roles 3 years' experience leading and developing technical or delivery teams Demonstrated experience managing technology budgets and vendor relationships Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to operate at both technical and executive levels Highly collaborative, outcomes-focused leader with a continuous improvement mindset Experience in primary industries, commodities, supply chain, or asset-intensive environments will be highly regarded Prior experience working within a global or matrix IT organisation is advantageous Salary/Benefits: $165,000 - $170,000 Super Apply Today Learn more about our Brisbane recruitment services: https://www.roberthalf.com.au/brisbane By clicking 'apply', you give your express consent that Robert Half may use your personal information to process your job application and to contact you from time to time for future employment opportunities.
