Location: Canberra (various locations) | Casual Position | Flexible Hours
Hourly rate - $ $45.66 (inclusive of 25% casual loading) Dependent on experience and qualifications.
Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and creating meaningful learning experiences? YWCA Canberra is seeking Casual Early Childhood Educators to join our dedicated team and help deliver high-quality education and care in our Early Childhood Services across Canberra.
About the Role
As a Casual Early Childhood Educator, you will:
* Support the development and implementation of holistic educational programs.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children.
* Collaborate with educators and families to support each child's learning journey.
* Maintain high standards of health, safety, and wellbeing in line with national regulations and YWCA Canberra policies.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in planning and documenting children's learning under the guidance of the Lead Educator.
* Build respectful, nurturing relationships with children and families.
* Actively supervise and respond to children's needs with empathy and professionalism.
* Contribute to a positive team culture and uphold the values of YWCA Canberra.
What We're Looking For
* A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or currently working towards a Diploma.
* A current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
* A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to children's rights and wellbeing.
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
* Must hold a valid WWWVP/WWCC
