Primary Objective
Lead the Digital Content team in partnering with client agencies to deliver high-quality, user‑focused and accessible content across NT Government websites. Design and implement solutions that foster innovation, continuous improvement and collaboration to enhance digital service delivery outcomes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage the Digital Content team to support agencies in creating and maintaining content on NT Government's public and internal websites.
2. Provide expert advice on content preparation, structure and placement to ensure consistency, accuracy and alignment with web standards, style manuals and best practices.
3. Build and maintain strong working relationships with client agencies and internal stakeholders to support effective communication and collaboration.
4. Plan, coordinate and deliver web‑related projects, managing resources, timelines and stakeholder engagement.
5. Drive continuous improvement and digital innovation to enhance service delivery in partnership with clients and stakeholders.
6. Actively participate as a member of the Web Support and Design branch management team, contributing ideas and solutions to support business objectives.
Selection Criteria
Essential
1. Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate a team to achieve business objectives while maintaining high service standards.
2. Strong expertise in web writing, plain language and accessibility to create clear, user‑centred content.
3. Proven experience in planning and delivering web projects, including managing timelines, resources and stakeholder engagement.
4. Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills to achieve successful outcomes.
5. Sound understanding of web content management systems, analytics, information architecture and search engine optimisation.
6. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a focus on generating creative and practical solutions.
7. Demonstrated work ethic and attitude that emulates DCDD values of commitment to service, innovation, ethical practice, accountability, impartiality, diversity and respect.
Desirable
* Qualifications in a related discipline such as Journalism, Communications, Management or similar.
