LAP Traineeship - Laboratory Analysts
- 18 Month Fixed-Term Contract
- Amrun Operations - 7:7 Day & Night shifts
We are looking for a LAP (Local Aboriginal Person) Laboratory Analysts trainee to complete testing which determines the quality of bauxite before it is loaded onto ships and exported.
Duties include:
- Assisting in the preparation and analysis of all samples received by the laboratory;
- Completing sample analysis of bauxite;
- Operating laboratory equipment;
- Gaining knowledge on production, shipping and analysis processes for geological samples critical for operations.
Successful applicants must:
- Have a current Drivers Licence;
- Have LAP Status Approval
- Be priority driven, self-motivated and able to work independently to meet deadlines;
- Enjoy scientific activities;
- Have a keen eye for detail;
- Show enthusiasm and have a passion for working within a team.
