Permanent, full-time Maintenance Labourer. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Labourer to join our City Infrastructure team. In this role, you will carry out a range of field duties related to the construction and maintenance of roads, drainage, and associated facilities, and operate trucks and plant required for this work.
Responsibilities
* Undertake a broad range of maintenance activities to roads, drainage and footpaths
* Operate trucks, small and large items of plant in accordance with policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
* Work cooperatively within a team environment to achieve high standards of works
* Respond courteously and promptly to enquiries or refer to the appropriate Council Officer for resolution.
* Undertake the administrative functions associated with the role including but not limited to completing timesheets, daily diaries, checklists and inductions.
About You
You are a reliable team player who prides yourself on completing tasks efficiently and to a high standard. You have previous experience in general maintenance works with a current Class MR driver licence and a School Certificate or relevant TAFE qualification in Civil works. You work well under minimal supervision and are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service to the community.
