Seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join our team in Launceston. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring customers receive accurate and timely information regarding their parts needs.
About the Role
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide excellent service to customers, ensuring they receive accurate and timely information in relation to all of their parts needs.
1. Deal with front counter enquiries, both face-to-face and over the phone
2. Locate Cat parts for customers and technicians
3. Follow up and action outstanding jobs related to parts inquiries and customer concerns
4. System-based parts interpretation using digital and print resources
5. Parts warehousing tasks, including receiving, order picking, and dispatch
6. Ensure company accounts receivable processes are adhered to in relation to parts sales transactions
7. Assist with the operation of display areas and stock cleanliness

About You
To be successful in this role, you will require the following skills and attributes:
* Mechanical knowledge and a background in earthmoving and/or automotive
* Exceptional communication skills with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
* Proficient in Microsoft applications
* Experience working on different kinds of systems/databases
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
* Knowledge of Caterpillar products (preferred but not essential)
