Health and Safety Expert Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Health and Safety Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing health and safety systems and strategies across the organization.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will have relevant qualification in Occupational Health and Safety and experience in the construction industry. They will be able to provide specialist advice, technical and management support to ensure a positive health and safety culture within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implementation of health and safety systems and strategies
* Providing specialist advice, technical and management support
* Developing and implementing strategies to prevent and minimize workplace injuries
* Supporting managers and supervision in activities to maintain a positive health and safety culture
* Leading an experienced high-performing HSE team on a daily basis to provide coverage across the region
* Establishing and implementing procedures for safety/risk management and emergencies
* Conducting investigations into workplace incidents
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Relevant Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety
* Relevant experience in the construction industry
* Preferably ICAM lead investigator and Current First Aid certificate
