Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Manager to lead our team in delivering innovative design solutions across major projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage consultant engagement, design development, and documentation to deliver projects on time and within quality standards.
* Lead and coordinate design development and documentation from concept through all phases, ensuring alignment with operational requirements and brand standards.
* Monitor design progress to ensure documentation aligns with cost plans and procurement programs.
* Oversee change management and cost control processes throughout the project lifecycle.
* Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and safety in design requirements.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Recognised Architectural Degree (Postgraduate qualification preferred).
* Extensive experience in design management for large-scale projects, ideally in hospitality, entertainment, or retail sectors.
* Proven ability to lead consultant teams and manage complex design programmes.
* Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and strategic thinking.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to negotiate solutions and foster collaboration.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and adapt quickly to change.
