Your next career opportunity
You will lead and support clinical education for Melbourne MD students based at St Vincent's Clinical School. You will coordinate placements, deliver innovative teaching and contribute to assessment and curriculum improvement across the MD program. You will build your academic profile through educational leadership, scholarship and collaboration across prestigious partner hospitals.
What you will deliver
* Lead clinical placement and education programmes at St Vincent's to fulfil Melbourne MD curriculum and accreditation requirements.
* Design and facilitate high-quality learning activities and clinical teaching sessions across all MD year levels and formats.
* Contribute to written, workplace-based and OSCE assessments, including development, delivery, marking and quality assurance activities.
* Collaborate with clinical and academic leaders at partner hospitals to ensure coherent, high-standard MD learning experiences.
* Evaluate and improve placement and teaching programmes, leading projects that enhance educational innovation and student outcomes.
You may be a great fit if
* Hold a medical qualification recognised for registration and clinical practice in Victoria, Australia.
* Bring demonstrated teaching experience within university or hospital environments, ideally involving medical students in clinical settings.
* Demonstrate capability to coordinate clinical education activities, placements and assessments while balancing multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
* Excel at developing, delivering and assessing learning activities, including OSCEs, mini-CEXs, long cases and workplace-based assessments.
* Manage administrative tasks efficiently, using Microsoft Office and digital systems to support teaching, assessment and communication.
* Pursue or hold postgraduate training or scholarship in medical education and engage actively in professional teaching communities.
