We are seeking a
Senior Microsoft Dynamics Software Engineer
with deep expertise in Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys and Data. This role will lead the expansion and optimisation of the platform by configuring existing features, enabling new capabilities, and streamlining marketing and event management processes.
The successful candidate will collaborate with architects, developers, testers, business analysts, and marketing stakeholders to design and implement enhancements within Dynamics 365, ensuring minimal disruption to existing operations. The role also requires providing technical leadership and knowledge transfer to uplift inhouse capability.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the expansion and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys and Data, including Real-time journeys and Event planning modules.
* Configure and optimise segments, journeys, content personalisation, journey templates, newsletters, and marketing attribution solutions.
* Build and enhance event registration templates and processes, improving submissions and data capture.
* Configure and manage security roles, permissions, and customer engagement settings (including connectors).
* Collaborate with internal teams to develop customer journeys, trigger-based marketing, campaigns, and nurture activities.
* Implement compliance solutions including brand profiles, preference and consent management, and compliance centres.
* Configure and optimise Power Pages event portals, marketing/event forms, and form templates.
* Provide technical guidance to upskill internal teams and support adoption of new functionality.
Essential Criteria
* Tertiary qualifications in ICT or relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications.
* Proven experience configuring and optimising Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys and Data.
* Demonstrated expertise in implementing Real-time journeys and Event planning modules for marketing and event automation.
* Strong understanding of marketing tactics and ability to translate into technical solutions.
* Proficiency in CRM systems and related technologies, with experience in data migration.
* Knowledge of Australian privacy laws, data protection regulations, and familiarity with government IT systems and processes.
