Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of people? Join us as a to help drive our vibrant Services. In this role you will be managing two programs:
Intensive Family Support (IFS) service aids families experiencing challenging times. Working directly with families in their homes, the team overcome barriers to safety, wellbeing and belonging and build a long-term network of support with the family.
The Assisting Students and Parents (ASAP) program supports young people who are disengaged or at risk of disengaging from education. Working at Caboolture and Tullawong High Schools, this service provides in person support on and off campus to young people and their families.

Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Champion values-based leadership, modelling Mission Australia's core values and founding purpose in all aspects of service delivery and team culture.
- Lead a responsive service that applies best practice approaches to meet a diverse range of client needs, to ensure the delivery of high-quality, client-focused programs.
- Oversee recruitment and selection processes in alignment with Mission Australia's policies and procedures.
- Manage the program budget responsibly, ensuring all expenditure is authorised and compliant.
- Deliver timely, accurate, and comprehensive reporting to meet both organisational and contractual obligations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team to enhance service quality and outcomes.
- Foster strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders to support the achievement of organisational goals.
Requirements for Success
- A degree in Human Services, Social Work, Social Sciences, Psychology or another relevant field.
- Experience in leading and managing a large and complex team to deliver service outcomes in compliance with contracted and funding requirements.
- Experience in budget and financial management.
- Expert knowledge and understanding of relevant Child Protection and Family Violence legislation pertaining to the safety and wellbeing of children and families
- Professional understanding of the issues and needs facing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families including Intergenerational Trauma
- Demonstrated ability to form team-oriented partnerships and connections with other professionals and organisations
Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
