Senior Solutions Architect Job Description
As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in helping clients understand their business and technology requirements and designing future-state architectures to meet their objectives.
This is a strategic technical pre-sales role that works closely with sales and pre-sales teams to develop technology roadmaps and establish deep technical relationships with customers and partners.

Responsibilities
* Strategic Sales Support
o Provides advanced technology solutioning support to field and channel sales
o Develops account technology strategy with Account Executives
o Prepares and conducts customer workshops
o Prepares and delivers customer presentations
o Develops peer relationships with customers at senior manager or director level
* Research and Development
o Keeps up-to-date with state-of-the-art technology
o Researches and distills relevant technology trends
o Analyses technology impacts
o Recommends to stakeholders based on research findings
o Implements new technologies, standards, processes, tools, and techniques
* Subject Matter Expertise
o Maintains industry awareness through training, reading, research, collaboration, and industry event attendance
* Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Interfaces with stakeholders in the products and solutions lifecycle
* Technology and Innovation Insights
o Provides technical subject matter expertise to sales, marketing, and the industry
* Solution Development
o Identifies and analyses opportunities and problems within customer context
o Develops solutions in technology, processes, organizational impact, commercials, and implementation plans
o Shares findings in customer presentations
Required Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience in network, data center, enterprise IT systems, including implementation and technical support preferred.
Minimum 7 years of solutions selling in a commercial pre-sales position preferred.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related engineering discipline preferred. Advanced industry certifications (i.e., Cisco, VMware, MS, AWS) preferred.
