Whilst we have specific vacancies in Maths and English, applications across all subject areas are welcomed.About the contractThese positions are full time, permanent, starting in 2026.About youTo be considered for this role you will need:Valid working rights within Australia.Be committed to the goals, ethos and mission of the College as a Catholic school in the Edmund Rice Tradition.Appropriate Tertiary qualifications in Education and a current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.Accreditation to Teach Religion in a Catholic School (Teachers of Religious Education) or willingness to achieve.Proven experience working in an educational setting with an understanding of the ethos of Catholic Education.Sound knowledge of school operations and relevant policies and procedures.Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication and conflict resolution skills when dealing with multiple stakeholders, including students, staff, parents and the wider college community.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and use initiative and self direction where required.Excellent organisational, administrative and time management skills.Intermediate computer skills and the ability to use Microsoft office products as well as school database management systems.About our OrganisationIgnatius Park College is an all-boys Independent Catholic secondary school located in Townsville, North Queensland catering for approximately 950 boys from Years 7-12.
