The Role
* Support children and young people in out-of-home care and/or at risk families.
This role involves being the primary caregiver during shifts ensuring the safety of young people in care and imparting essential life skills to establish a consistent routine.
Collaborate with colleagues, you'll help develop interventions for these young individuals with complex issues.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and engage in meaningful activities with the young person.
2. Promote good hygiene and nutrition.
3. Maintain daily case notes and handle administrative tasks.
Shift Information:
* Casual Rates starting at $48.31 per hour (excluding allowances).
* Flexibility to work Day Afternoon, Overnight, and Weekend Shifts is highly desirable.
* Weekday Shift: 09:30am - 02:30pm (5 Hours).
* Afternoon Shift: 02:00pm - 10:30pm + overnight - 9:30am (12 Hours).
* Weekend Shifts: 08:00am to 11pm + overnight until 08:00am (16.5 Hours).
* Support Shifts: 2:00pm to 10pm (8 Hours) Times may vary.
Qualifications, Credentials and Other Requirements
A Certificate IV or higher qualification in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, Youth Services, Community Services, or a related field is required.
Current Blue Card (Working with Children's Check QLD), Licensed Care Service (LCS), and Queensland Drivers Licence are also necessary.
Completion of Hope and Healing Framework training is an asset.
