About the Role
We are seeking Support Workers in Wentworth Falls to support a male participant in his thirties who lives in his own home. Applicants must have experience in epilepsy and complex behaviour management.
This role is about being a team player, completing all tasks required in your shift, and ensuring smooth, supportive handovers for participants and staff.
Duties Include
- Supporting participants with dignity, care, and respect
- Complex behaviour management (following behaviour support plans)
- Epilepsy monitoring and seizure response
- Personal and high-complex care
- Medication administration and record keeping
- Daily living assistance (cleaning, cooking, laundry)
- Health appointments and community participation support
- Transport and social support
- Working collaboratively with your team and ensuring all tasks are completed each shift
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in complex behaviour support (required)
- Experience supporting people with epilepsy (required)
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent experience (desirable)
- Positive, proactive, and professional approach
- Strong team player mindset with commitment to completing all shift duties
- Driver’s licence, reliable vehicle, and comprehensive insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexible availability (mornings, evenings, weekends, sleepovers)
- A superstar attitude and genuine passion for putting participants first
