Job Description
As a senior accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and stability of our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. You will also be responsible for reconciling accounts, managing cash requirements, and ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
2. Reconcile accounts, manage cash requirements, and ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
3. Assist with the preparation of statutory financial statements and participate in the audit process.
4. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, and implement changes as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* CPA/CA qualification is essential.
* Proven accounting experience, preferably with an audit background.
* Good knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards.
* Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
