Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close processes, delivering accurate P&L;, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting
- Prepare and review journals, accruals, and reconciliations across multiple entities and geographies
- Assist with consolidation of group results and contribute to management and board reporting packs
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including monitoring variances and investigating key movements
- Provide financial business partnering to department heads, translating data into actionable insights
- Analyse key cost drivers, OPEX trends, and margin movements to support profitability
- Improve and document finance processes and internal controls, with a focus on automation and scalability
- Contribute to ad hoc financial analysis, modelling, and project support (e.g., system upgrades, new initiatives)
The Candidate
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- CPA/CA qualification (or working towards) preferred
- 3–5+ years’ experience in management accounting, with exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and controls
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modelling) and experience with accounting/BI systems (e.g., Xero, NetSuite, Tableau)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into clear business insights
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders
- Experience in high-growth, multi-entity, or multi-market environments desirable
