About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Service Technician to join our Henderson-based team. This full-time, hands-on role plays a key part in ensuring our equipment is maintained, tested, and commissioned to a high standard for both internal and customer requirements.
You will work across the workshop and customer sites, providing technical servicing, repairs, and support. This role suits someone who takes ownership of their work, enjoys problem-solving, and is comfortable engaging directly with customers.
Local travel within Western Australia will be required from time to time.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out scheduled servicing, fault finding, and repairs on blast and spray equipment, hose assemblies, and diesel-powered rental assets
* Assemble, modify, and install replacement parts and equipment upgrades
* Prepare rental equipment for dispatch and assess returned equipment for maintenance or repair
* Develop and document preventative maintenance plans for rental and service equipment
* Provide practical technical advice and remote troubleshooting support to customers
* Support warehouse operations including receiving and dispatch when required
* Assist the Sales team with customer equipment demonstrations as needed
* Ensure all work complies with company procedures and Work Health and Safety requirements
* Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
* Identify cost-effective repair solutions, including the use of warranties where applicable
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong mechanical background and a practical, customer-focused approach to your work.
You will ideally have:
* At least five years' experience in a Service Technician or workshop-based role
* Strong mechanical aptitude with proven diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Trade qualifications such as Mechanical, Boilermaker, or Toolmaker, which are highly regarded
* Experience with UHP blasting or waterjetting equipment, which is desirable but not essential
* Competency using maintenance and repair tools and equipment
* Sound understanding of WHS requirements and safe work practices
* Clear verbal and written communication skills
* Good organisation, attention to detail, and time management
* A professional manner with customers and internal stakeholders
* Experience using NetSuite is beneficial but not required
* A current Australian driver's licence
