Stepping into the Clinical Educator position at Bankstown‑Lidcombe Hospital means stepping into influence. This position calls for a professional who brings a sophisticated blend of clinical expertise and strategic leadership. The successful candidate will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of clinical education, the ability to manage complex clinical situations and the capacity to guide students with clarity and purpose. Their commitment to evidence‑based practice, collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and delivery of person‑centred care is essential. A reflective, proactive leader with a passion for service improvement will excel in this senior role.

Selection Criteria

To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

1. Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer, with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
2. Demonstrated recent and varied experience in clinical student supervision and/or staff supervision.
3. Demonstration of an understanding of adult learning styles and teaching methods.
4. Demonstrated excellent organisational, negotiation and written and verbal communication skills.
5. Demonstrated experience in working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
6. Demonstrated experience with leading quality improvement and service evaluation activities.
7. Demonstrated high level clinical expertise and knowledge of a wide range of clinical conditions in Hospital experience.
8. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P. Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
