About the Role
We're on the lookout for an experienced and enthusiastic Cook to lead our centre's kitchen working Monday to Friday for hours per week.
Ideal for someone who values early finishes and a consistent weekday schedule.
As our occupancy grows, there's potential for hours to expand
What You'll Be Doing
Planning and preparing seasonal, nutritious menus that cater to children of all dietary needs, including allergies and intolerances (gluten, dairy, etc.)
Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment
Ordering supplies and managing stock efficiently
Keeping clear and accurate records in line with food safety regulations
Being a valued part of a close-knit, supportive team that puts children first
What You'll Need
Available to work a minimum of
hours per week
Experience in childcare, aged care cooking or similar (essential)
Food Safety Supervisor certification (desirable)
Commercial Cookery qualification (desirable)
Current WA Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Current First Aid, CPR & Child Protection Training (or willingness to obtain)
Permanent working rights in Australia
