CGC is growing, and we're looking for a Principal Engineering Geologist to join our team and help shape the future of geotechnical consulting in Queensland and beyond.
This is a senior technical leadership role offering diverse challenges across investigations, design, analysis, and construction-phase services. You'll work on complex projects across our market sectors while mentoring the next generation of engineers.
What You'll Do
* Provide market-leading engineering geological expertise across site investigations, analysis, interpretation, design, and advisory services.
* Lead projects from proposal through delivery, applying PMBoK principles.
* Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development.
* Champion safety, quality, and innovation in all phases of project delivery.
* Mentor junior team members and drive technical excellence.
What We're Looking For
* 15+ years' experience in engineering geology and geotechnics.
* Extensive fieldwork and design experience across varied geological conditions.
* Accredited TMR SRA or RMS SRA v4.
* Comprehensive technical knowledge to guide projects and mentor junior staff.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Degree in Engineering Geology or equivalent; CGeol, RPGeo or similar accreditation.
* Rope Access (IRATA) Certification preferred
