Bulli Medical Practice is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our busy general practice and travel clinic in the Illawarra. This is a key leadership role for someone who enjoys building strong teams, improving systems and ensuring a high standard of patient care and practice performance.
About the role
You will work closely with our doctors, nurses and reception team to ensure smooth practice operations and excellent patient service. The role includes staff leadership, financial and operational management, compliance support and continuous improvement of practice systems. Experience in general practice will be highly regarded.
Key responsibilities
* Lead the daily operations of the practice.
* Support, supervise and develop administrative and reception staff.
* Manage rostering, workflows and team coordination.
* Oversee accounts, invoicing, billing and reporting.
* Maintain compliance with accreditation, Medicare, privacy and workplace requirements.
* Support quality improvement, policy updates and practice systems.
* Liaise with suppliers, vendors, contractors and external stakeholders.
* Assist with recruitment, onboarding and performance processes.
About you
* Previous experience in general practice, practice management or senior medical administration.
* Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
* Confident managing competing priorities in a busy clinical environment.
* Experience with practice software (Best Practice, HotDoc or similar systems), billing and compliance processes.
* A proactive, professional and solutions-focused approach.
* Diploma in Practice Management or equivalent qualification highly regarded.
