About the role Are you ready to shape the financial future of a dynamic organisation?
We're seeking a sharp, analytical mind to support our Director of Finance in delivering high-impact financial modelling, insightful reporting, and data-driven analysis to our CFO and key stakeholders.
This pivotal role will harness advanced analytics tools to uncover trends, build robust forecasting models, and empower smarter decision-making across the business.
Duties Financial Strategy & Analysis: Develop financial models for tenders, performance projections, and M&A projects; identify improvement and de-risking opportunities with stakeholders.Reporting & Insights: Build KPI reports with cross-functional teams and mine data from systems to create drill-down analyses that drive actionable insights.Operational & Project Support: Contribute to finance projects like ERP implementation and management reporting enhancements; assist with audits, funder reporting, and benchmarking.Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong connections with managers and stakeholders; provide financial coaching and support to help teams achieve business goals.We support people to live their best life.

Skills and Requirements Professional Credentials & Experience: Qualified CA/CPA with 10+ years in management accounting, financial analysis, and business partnering.Technical & Analytical Expertise: Advanced skills in financial modelling, Power BI model building and reporting, and navigating complex client data systems; SQL database, ERP implementation and M&A experience beneficial.Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across functions with a customer-focused mindset.Strategic & Operational Agility: Adept at planning, time management, and driving initiatives to completion with a proactive, flexible work style.Sector Knowledge: Experience in the human services sector preferred, with a strong understanding of business needs and performance improvement.If you identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, then we want to hear from you.
