The Civil Contractors Federation NSW (CCF NSW) is the peak body for employers in the NSW civil construction industry. From major head contractors to small subcontractors - if it is built in NSW, civil contractors are behind it.

About the Role

We are searching for a dynamic and motivated Industry Events Coordinator who will own all aspects of event coordination, from concept development to on-site execution, ensuring events are delivered to the highest standards and within budget. This is an exciting opportunity to lead events that strengthen our brand and build relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinating the events calendar, from the planning and marketing through to event delivery, ensuring each event runs smoothly and to a high standard.
* Plan and execute events, including industry lunches, our annual Awards night, regional socials, member webinars and more.
* Handle venue selection, vendor negotiations, caterers, AV setup, travel arrangements, entertainment and any technical requirements.
* Create event-related content, including invitations, promotional materials, social media campaigns, reminders for events and monitoring RSVPs.
* Liaise with members, sponsors, speakers, venues and service providers.
* Develop and oversee event budgets, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality delivery.
* Lead on-site event delivery, managing logistics, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a smooth guest experience.
* Evaluate event success, gather feedback, and provide detailed reports with recommendations for future improvements.
About You
* You will have 3-5 years of experience in events management in the planning, logistics and execution for events ranging from 30 to 500 attendees.
* You will be a strong communicator and have high problem-solving skills.
* You will have strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines.
* You have strong attention to detail and are proactive in your approach.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills, with experience working with event attendees, sponsors, speakers, venues and service providers.
* Demonstrated experience in managing and optimising event budgets.
* Proficiency in Canva, MS Suite, Mailchimp and WordPress.
