Supporting Independence in the Community
About the Role:
As a Community Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to maintain their independence and well-being in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide practical assistance with daily living tasks, including household chores and meal preparation
* Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing and grooming
* Encourage social interaction and support emotional health and well-being
* Monitor clients' health and report any concerns to relevant authorities
To be successful in this role, you will have experience providing personal care and domestic support to individuals who require assistance due to ageing, disability or mental illness. You will also hold a relevant qualification, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged), and have a current First Aid certification, including CPR.
