About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Reservations Agent to join our Front Office & Reservations team on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for handling room bookings, responding to guest enquiries, maximising occupancy and revenue, and ensuring every guest receives an exceptional first impression of Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise.
This role is ideal for someone with reservations or front office experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel environment who thrives in a guest-centric, fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage room reservations via phone, email, online channels, and third-party systems
* Provide accurate information about rooms, rates, packages, and hotel facilities
* Upsell room types, upgrades, and promotions to maximise revenue
* Maintain accurate records and data within the reservations system
* Communicate with Front Office, Revenue, Sales, and Housekeeping to ensure smooth operations
* Assist with group bookings, allotments, and corporate accounts
* Handle guest queries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
* Ensure all reservations policies, payment procedures, and brand standards are consistently upheld
About You:
* Previous experience as a Reservations Agent or Front Office Agent in a 4-star+ hotel(required)
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
* Experience with hotel PMS (Opera/OnQ/RMS or similar)
* Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
* A friendly, professional, guest-focused approach
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Full Australian working rights required
