Our team continues to grow, we are looking to bring on a new Senior Caretaker to join our team in Aldinga, employed on a Full‐Time basis. Your working hours will be 7:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday to Friday, but may also include after‐hours and weekend work, such as supporting out‐of‐hours events and being on call to respond to after‐hours emergencies where required.
Responsibilities
* Delivery of hard and soft facility services, including programmed and reactive maintenance, security and access control, waste and pest services
* Manage subcontractors, maintenance works (planned and reactive), site operations and Community Use
* Oversee site access, security, keys, deliveries, and traffic/parking management
* Build strong client relationships and deliver responsive, high‐quality customer service to the College leadership team
* Monitor budgets, control costs, and support asset and maintenance planning
* Lead and support staff, ensuring effective performance, communication, and safe work practices
Qualifications
* Ability to supply/source a current National Police Clearance and a Working with Children Check
* Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the fiscal management of site operations
* Trade background (e.g., handyman, Trade Assistant or similar) with strong maintenance experience
* Proven experience managing a service delivery team, subcontractors and coordinating maintenance or site services
* Sound knowledge of WHS, Australian Standards, OH&S principles and building compliance requirements
* Strong organisational, communication, and problem‐solving skills
