Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a Payroll Enhancement Project aimed at delivering additional functionality to an existing payroll system. This initiative will introduce a up-to-date solution for Workforce Management, including rostering, time capture, and EA interpretation.
Working closely with stakeholders across Payroll, People & Culture, Finance, and Operations, you’ll be responsible for defining and documenting business processes, business rules, and requirements to support software selection, implementation, and change impact assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and co-facilitate workshops and interviews with stakeholders.
- Document business processes using BPMN 2.0 standards.
- Analyse processes, identify gaps, and suggest improvements.
- Assist in preparing change impact assessments.
- Capture and codify business rules and requirements for solution design.
- Work collaboratively with users and the project team to resolve issues.
- Evaluate supplier responses to RFTs and proposals.
- Ensure compliance with organisational processes and maintain a focus on safety, wellbeing, and psychosocial safety.
About You
- Degree in Human Capital/Payroll, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst on large-scale, complex system implementations.
- Strong understanding of Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience assessing RFP responses and working with COTS solutions.
- Knowledge of HR/Payroll processes, particularly Time & Attendance, Rostering, Scheduling, and EA interpretation.
- Exposure to AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot ) is highly regarded.
