Recruitment Selectis actively seeking an Accounts Officer responsible for Accounts payable and receivable tasks.
The role will manage daily operations along with supporting both the Finance Officer & Finance Business Partner as required.
This is a temporary full-time role for up to 6 months on casual pay working with a local reputable business based in Shepparton.
After 6 months with the possibility of moving within the business as a more permanent candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Data input of supplier invoices
Matching purchase orders to invoices
Reconciliation of AP statements
Procurement/supplier process review
Processing monthly payment runs
Manage claims
Process remittance advice Credit control - debtors & creditors
Banking requirements
End of month accounting tasks
Customer Support
Answer incoming calls
Contribute excellent organisational skills
Experience & Qualifications:
2 years + experience in Accounts Payable or Receivable position
A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Bookkeeping preferred
Knowledge of agriculture industry would be highly regarded
Advanced use of Word, Powerpoint, Excel & Outlook
Experience in use of Sage X3 & cloud documents
A proven ability to meet deadlines
