Job Title: Aquatic Facilities Operations Specialist
The Livingstone Shire Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee the maintenance and operation of its aquatic facilities. As an Aquatic Facilities Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, sustainability, and enjoyment of our community's aquatic spaces.
About the Role:
* Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of aquatic facilities, including the Yeppoon foreshore and lagoon precinct.
* Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships with contractors and internal teams to ensure exceptional outcomes.
* Ensure compliance with contract conditions, meeting attendance, and KPIs for contracted services.
* Lead aquatic infrastructure projects from concept to completion, providing expert technical advice on safety and quality standards.
About You:
* Diploma or higher qualification in project management or mechanical/electrical trade (or equivalent experience).
* Demonstrated knowledge of contract management principles, risk assessments, and statutory requirements relevant to aquatic facility operations.
/li>Solid understanding of asset management practices (AM)
You must hold valid certifications such as Aquatic Technical Operator certification. Also it would be helpful if you have a reliable car with necessary insurance for job use.
In addition holding Aquatic Technician certification as well as one construction Industry Induction Card. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach. We offer competitive salary package:$94 341 per year
