Job Description
As a Personal Care Worker, you will be responsible for delivering essential support to residents, ensuring their individual needs are met with dignity and respect. Your role will involve assisting with daily living activities, fostering a comfortable and safe environment, and providing physical and emotional support to residents who require assistance.
Key aspects of the job include:
* Providing support with mobility, meals, and personal care
* Maintaining the personal dignity and privacy of all residents
* Ensuring confidentiality in all interactions with residents and their representatives
* Undertaking and completing tasks as delegated by Registered Nurses
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent qualification
* Completion of units of competency including HLTHPS006 - Assist clients with medication
* A current National Police Certificate
* Valid Australian Work Rights
