Wind Energy Specialist
This position is based at the Snowtown Wind Farm, located in South Australia.
The successful candidate must reside in the local area no further than 1 hour's drive from the site.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced wind energy specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering, with experience in wind turbine maintenance and repair.
The role will involve inspecting, maintaining, and repairing equipment on wind turbines, as well as conducting structural inspections to ensure the physical integrity of towers.
The successful candidate will be based primarily at the Hornsdale Wind Farm, but will also be required to support operations at Snowtown Wind Farm as needed.

About the Role
* Inspect, maintain, and repair wind turbine equipment during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks.
* Conduct structural inspections to ensure the physical integrity of towers.
* Maintain tools and spare parts inventory to support efficient repair, installation, and replacement work.
* Uphold safety policies with a strong work ethic, working independently or in small teams with excellent communication skills.
* Be flexible for on-call duties and responsive to weather variations, with a strong aptitude for electrical and mechanical systems.
What We're Looking For
* A high school diploma or equivalent, with a certificate III in electrical or mechanical trade.
* At least 2 years' experience in wind turbine maintenance and repair.
* Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including variable pitch, speed control, and converter systems.
* A current unrestricted Australian driver's license and confidence working at heights.
* An Australian electricity supply authority (ESA) certification, or equivalent.
