Job Description
We’re working with a regional civil engineering contractor to recruit a Senior Engineer / Regional Engineer to join their Southern office. This role offers the chance to support a broad range of regional projects rather than being tied to a single scheme, making it well suited to someone who enjoys variety, mentoring others, and contributing to the wider technical capability of a growing business. The business continues to expand, with turnover now exceeding £100m and projects ranging up to £25m in value. Their projects include coastal and marine schemes, highways, and water infrastructure.
As Senior Engineer, you’ll support delivery on their larger projects, overseeing a small team of engineers while also providing roaming support across the region. You’ll help junior engineers with technical queries, problem solving, quality assurance, and day‑to‑day development. You will also manage resources across projects, including arranging temporary engineering cover or reallocating internal resources when required.
You will be involved in early‑careers engagement such as career fairs, university visits, and supporting the recruitment of placement engineers, apprentices, and graduates. For questions or discussion of this role, please contact Sam Draycott.
