Vehicle Maintenance Specialist
As a skilled Vehicle Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure they operate at peak performance. With expertise in engine systems, electrical components, hydraulics, and more, you will commit to safety, reliability, and efficiency in every repair.
In this position, you will utilize manual and computerized diagnostic methods to identify potential problems in a vehicle, explain mechanical problems and possible solutions to customers, and plan work and testing procedures using charts, experience, and other organizational methods.
Key Responsibilities
* Utilizing manual and computerized diagnostic methods to identify potential problems in a vehicle.
* Explaining mechanical problems and possible solutions to customers.
* Planning work and testing procedures using charts, experience, and other organizational methods.
* Testing parts and systems to ensure they work correctly.
* Ensuring all critical parts are checked and tested.
* Performing basic automotive care, including changing oil and rotating tires.
* Repairing or replacing worn, old or defective parts of a vehicle.
Requirements
* Must have a US Secret or AUS NV-1 Clearance.
* Must be a US or Australian certified vehicle mechanic.
* Must have a minimum of five years of experience in vehicle maintenance.
* Requires a high school diploma, and further specialized training in automotive service technology.
* Though not necessary, an associate degree with classes in math, electronics, or auto repair is desired.
