About the Role
The Assets Manager will lead the organisation's asset management function, overseeing the planning, performance, and lifecycle management of major infrastructure assets. The role plays a critical part in supporting capital works delivery, flood recovery outcomes, and sustainable long‐term infrastructure investment.
Key Accountabilities
* Strategic and operational management of infrastructure and asset portfolios
* Oversight of roads, bridges, drainage, buildings, and public infrastructure assets
* Development and continuous improvement of Asset Management Plans (AMPs) and systems
* Support delivery of recovery, reconstruction, and resilience programs
* Alignment of asset planning with capital works programs and long‐term financial planning
* Management of state and federal funding programs, including compliance and reporting
* Asset lifecycle planning, condition assessment, and risk‐based prioritisation
