Due to business growth, we have a vacancy in our Reliability team for a qualified mechanical fitter.
About You
You'll have a qualification as a Mechanical Fitter & Turner with a high level of mechanical aptitude and a proven background within a production environment. You'll have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within a fast-paced FMCG environment with
* a strong focus on workplace safety,
* experience in a high-speed packaging environment,
* breakdown support and preventative maintenance tasks across all areas of a site for mechanical works including but not limited to pumps / valves / pneumatics / hydraulics
* a high level of computer literacy and proficiency with CMMS (Computerised Maintenance management System) Mex,
* strong written and verbal communication skills,
* effective time management skills, focused, attention to detail with a strong focus on CI (Continuous Improvement), and
* flexibility in hours worked to ensure operational and engineering support needs are met.
Experience with plant essential services such as Boilers/Air Compressors/ Refrigeration desired but not essential.
Candidates must have valid Australian work rights to be considered for this position.
