We require an experienced Electrical Supervisor on a FIFO roster of 19:9 to Karratha.

e2x is delivering the Underground Electrical Installation package on Perdaman's Project Ceres– the largest urea plant in Australia and one of the largest in the world.

The Electrical Supervisor oversees all electrical construction and installation activities during the construction of the works and are responsible for ensuring electrical installations are executed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

This role involves coordinating electrical works, work crews, subcontractors, liaising with project management and engineering teams, and upholding safety and quality assurance protocols in a high-risk industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Works

Supervise installation of all electrical infrastructure, including:

* Motor control centres (MCCs) and switchboards
* Earthing and lightning protection systems
* Instrumentation, control panels, and field devices
* Enforce compliance with electrical standards (e.g., AS/NZS 3000), hazardous area classification, and testing protocols.
* Coordinate loop checking, pre-commissioning, and energisation activities.
* Develop and manage procurement schedules aligned with construction milestones.
* Source, evaluate, and order long-lead and critical path equipment.
* Coordinate logistics for timely delivery of materials to site.
* Maintain supplier and vendor relationships to ensure quality and specification compliance.
* Monitor inventory, material tracking, and resolve delivery or quality issues.

Interface & Integration

* Liaise between engineering, construction, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth integration of systems.
* Ensure design-to-field alignment by reviewing IFC drawings, responding to RFIs, and managing change.

Safety & Compliance

* Lead hazard identification and mitigation strategies specific to chemical and fertilizer plant risks (e.g., ammonia handling, explosive atmospheres).
* Promote a strong HSE culture across all disciplines.
* Comply with environmental and statutory regulations during execution.

Quality Assurance & Documentation

* Implement ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans) and ensure traceability of equipment and installations.
* Maintain construction records, inspection checklists, redline drawings, and as-built documentation.
* Coordinate electrical readiness for commissioning activities.
* Support functional testing, system integration, and handover to operations.
