Summary
We're seeking an experienced Quality Manager to support quality and compliance across a small organisation with residential aged care services. You'll be working closely with clinical leaders and home management, this role will focus on maintaining and improving care quality systems, driving compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, and ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality care. This is an excellent, permanent opportunity for someone with strong aged care experience who thrives on improving systems, coaching teams, and making a tangible difference in care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee internal audits, compliance reviews, and care quality assessments.
* Monitor and report on key clinical and quality indicators (e.g. incidents, complaints, medication management).
* Identify risk areas and lead the development of continuous improvement plans.
* Ensure documentation and practices align with the Aged Care Quality Standards and governance frameworks.
* Educate and support staff in best practices around compliance and care delivery.
* Collaborate with leadership and care teams to embed a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Update and review organisational policies to meet evolving regulatory requirements.
Key Requirements
* AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse (non-essential).
* Proven experience in quality, risk, or clinical governance within aged care or health services (essential).
* Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and sector compliance.
* Audit, data collection, and reporting experience.
* Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Experience in training and supporting teams in quality systems.
