Each NSW SES Unit is as unique and varied as the community it serves, reflecting the vast mix of risks faced and roles required in the diverse locations and communities across the state. In addition to flood, storm and tsunami, our Service provides specialist capabilities that include general land rescue, vertical rescue, road crash rescue, and alpine and remote area search and rescue. The NSW SES responded to over 64,000 requests for assistance from the community over the 2021-22 year.
**Your new role**
The NSW SES is set to transform its digital platforms including public facing website. This is a rare opportunity to lead a team and work with external agencies, developers and internal stakeholders to ensure the NSW SES can meet its mission of saving lives and creating safer communities.
This position will be responsible for leading the team to deliver a new website from end to end including User Experience (UX), User Interface, content management, website development, hosting and infrastructure, SEO and analytics, ensuring that the website is user-friendly, easy to navigate, and visually appealing.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant fields or extensive experience such as, Digital Marketing, web Development or Digital Communications
- Robust background in Project Management
- Be able to hit the ground running and excel in collaborating with diverse stakeholders leveraging your exceptional interpersonal skills to drive seamless partnerships and achieve project success.
